The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for an Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for administering the security contracts and ensuring compliance with the regulatory and contractual requirements. This position will act as G4S liaison with the client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. This position is also responsible for management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes at all client locations in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Account Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls the operational and administrative activities of the contracts on a day to day basis as well as proposing and implementing proactive measures to improve performance and expand the operation. This individual is directly accountable for the success, performance, compliance, and public perception of the program.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site is performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training of all G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. Site Supervisors assigned to the client site)
  • Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
  • Maintain overtime to a preset requirement designated by G4S
  • Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel assigned to the client site
  • Perform other operations related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, issue uniforms, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders, assisting Site Supervisors as needed)
  • Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision
  • Respond to client requests
  • Create and maintain complex spreadsheets, databases, communications, and presentations

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of verifiable security or related experience
  • Minimum one year of experience supervising all aspects of a 168+ HPW contract security services or equivalent
  • Supervisory experience must include each of the following:
    • Demonstrated track record in dealing with the effective communication of complex organizational and human resource issues
    • Demonstrated resiliency and sound judgment in dealing with business and corporate challenges
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop employe Demonstrated ability to build trust and instill self-confidence through mutual respect and ongoing communication with internal and external customers
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively schedule employees for assigned location
    • Demonstrated ability to take and give direction in a fast-paced and multi-tasking work environment
    • Verifiable employment experience using intermediate or higher Microsoft Office Suite experience to include complex Excel spreadsheets, Access Database, Power Point and Word documents and presentations

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal work in extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Working on PC while sitting, telephone use, overseeing field operations

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, and stretching and reaching.
