Job Introduction:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our Regional Security business.

Based at Salford Quays, Manchester, you will be reporting to the Security Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our MediaCityUKfunction.

Role Responsibility:

  • Arrange and minute meetings
  • Administrative support for Peel Head of Security on a daily basis
  • Administrative support for G4S Security operations manager on a daily basis
  • Place regular and ad-hoc equipment/uniform orders to include payments to suppliers
  • Processing relevant Peel invoices on a monthly basis
  • File Management of personnel information, training, uniform, purchase orders, signing in sheets
  • Arranging and assisting in disciplinary/grievances in line with legislative and procedural protocols
  • Ongoing updates of approved documentation
  • Collating KPI information for monthly presentation
  • Ensuring invoices are raised correctly and on time in line with customer request and G4S process
  • Ensuring the clients time and attendance system is maintained
  • Scheduling new contracted hours
  • Scheduling new temporary hours
  • Ensuring officers are paid correctly by checking signing in sheets on a daily basis
  • Requesting updates on absence and illness from Control on a daily basis
  • Answering officer pay queries
  • Answering HR issues e.g. paternity leave
  • Booking training courses with G4S Training Academy
  • Arrange new starter programme and introduction to MediaCityUK
  • Ensure contracted hours are met

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Sound IT skills – including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • The ability to prioritise workload to meet service targets
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, in writing, by telephone and face to face
  • To be methodical and organised to keep all filing in order and to ensure the team’s records are kept up to date
  • To deliver accurate and consistent results under pressure
  • The ability to adapt, and have a flexible approach to change
  • The ability to fully support the team in its service delivery

 

Hours of work Mon – Friday 8am – 4pm

Salary £19,300 per year

28 days holiday per year
