The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Project Coordinator. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting all project management processes. This includes understanding project goals, deadlines, and financial boundaries to ensure that management can best allocate and utilize resources and strategies.  This position is accountable for the effective and efficient implementation and management of detailed, client projects in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).  The successful candidate will have a strong background in security and communications technology, with a proven track record in delivering on objectives. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for designing, building and delivering development projects of varying size and complexity, as well as directing, organizing, and controlling project activities for a high-visibility client.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide project coordination for Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) operations
  • Provide timely communications and actionable intelligence to support the project implementation, assets/intellectual property, and infrastructure analysis of the center and related interests/entities
  • Assist in the completion of the detailed design, and/or assisting in the implementation of designed solutions
  • Perform analysis, planning, and provide direction in order to ensure maximum value and to facilitate effective project performance
  • Participation in, but not limited to, the following: developing drawings, performing design calculations, generation of documentation, identification of configurations
  • Design and implement test plans and procedures
  • Produce training procedures and materials; assist in implementing configurations, perform testing, conduct training, and assist in the closeout of the project
  • Assume full responsibility for identifying and scheduling all appropriate certifications and inspections of related systems, personnel and functions and ensure procedures and protocols are in place that enable the timely and effective response to, and management of, incidents, alarms, notifications, calls and other activities and issues related to the project

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of work experience in supervisory/management role
  • Work experience must include of the following:
    • Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills and ability to expertly prepare reports
    • Ability to use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problems
    • Demonstrated high level of competency with advanced computer systems (e.g., hardware, software and networks)
    • Possession of highly proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to communicate effectively with IT and Security Systems professionals
    • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and working under extreme pressure

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment:  Office, little to no exposure to extreme temperatures
