The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Intelligence Director. As a Corporate Risk Services Intelligence Director, you will provide support to Corporate Risk Services Regional Directors, customers and internal G4S clients with appropriate and timely intelligence-based products. The Director will need to understand and be able to communicate scope for jobs, as well as overseeing the staffing, scheduling and performance of Intelligence professionals both in the field at client sites but also part of Intel Managed Services at G4S HQ. The Director will develop, manage and grow a suite of profitable Intelligence services to be delivered to the G4S customer base in the Americas. The Director will be responsible for the Financial performance of the Intelligence services business.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Development and oversight of Suite of intelligence offerings
  • Overseeing Intel Analysts performance and managing projects from inception to completion
  • Constantly evaluating and improving internal procedures – focused on creating scalable solutions for the growth of the business
  • Reviewing and approving work performed while ensuring rates, hours of work, and invoices items are correct and requested
  • Evaluating personnel. Identifying strengths, weaknesses, and development programs to improve performance
  • Identify and communicate daily all critical items requiring the attention of senior management
  • Establish relationships with internal and external partners to drive awareness and impact of operations and intelligence programs across company
  • Adeptly identify and evaluate sources of information for validity and relevance to reduce uncertainty and fill knowledge gaps

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Industrial Security, Intelligence or related field
    • Ten years of work experience in Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, Security, or Military (active duty military, military reserves or National Guard)

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Industrial Security, Intelligence or related field
    • Ten years of work experience in Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, Security, or Military (active duty military, military reserves or National Guard)

  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to thrive in a high-tempo environment and possess strong multi-tasking skills
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must have demonstrated ability to operate automated information systems, and possess strong Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills
  • Must have superior written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures expected

Major activity:        Working on PC and using telephone / mobile platform while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:      Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching, and reaching
