The Manager of Field Support provides assistance and operational guidance with variety of tasks and activities conducted primarily within a specified region of field locations, to include acting as a liaison for offices with various G4S departments and/or divisions in matters including operational, administrative, policy and/or procedures. In addition, the Manager, Field Support provides management and/or regional representation, oversight and/or support to special projects, emergency response, major job transition, labor disturbance, natural/un-natural disasters, field office establishment, closure, or management absence as directed by Regional and/or Corporate Management.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide operational support for all offices within assigned Region
  • Oversee special projects, major job transitions, response to labor disturbances and natural/unnatural disasters
  • Act as client/employee liaison during special/emergency services, to include materials acquisition; travel arrangements; arrange for and issue per diem payments; interface with branch office(s) involved; authorize expenditures to limits established by Headquarters
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Interface with HQ departments on behalf of individual offices to meet their mission requirements of revenue and profit growth
  • Carry out other projects as directed by the Regional Vice President

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of security leadership experience in a multi-location environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable work experience showing aptitude for assisting in the operational and administrative management of a large semi-independent business

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of industry costs and local markets
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major Activity: Working on PC while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching.
