As a National Account Manager, you will oversee and manage all operational, financial, contractual and other administrative functions for a national portfolio.  This position provides direction and leadership for contracted guard services. The National Account Manager position oversees guard operations and is also responsible for client service, problem resolution, and service delivery enhancements, and communicates with client representatives and field offices regularly to facilitate these activities.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide account management and oversight for the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, development and retention of high caliber staff; plans, assigns, and directs work; provide performance feedback, coach associates, and ensure disciplinary actions, as necessary; support staff as appropriate in carrying out their respective responsibilities
  • Implement standard security operations at each customer facility, and ensure consistency and compliance through site visits; ensure post orders are updated regularly and provide guidance in accordance with client’s specific needs at each location
  • Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met with contract compliance
  • Review and submit invoices to the client for payment; communicate with G4S offices regarding discrepancies; communicate with billing department regarding resolution; develop and track / oversee annual budget for all locations ($3m+)
  • Set and conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly staff meetings, and teleconferences; prepare and send emails, memos, and letters as applicable; set and conduct meetings with key personnel within contract
  • Coordinate with client to support special events and emergency coverage

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate security-related project/key account management and contract security-related project/key account management experience in a multi-location environment with demonstrated ability to deliver efficiencies
  • Prior experience managing customer relations and contract compliance with a large national or regional customer base
  • Must have experience effectively building, coaching and leading a team in a customer service focused environment

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:  Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity:  National travel to client sites quarterly / semi-annually.  Working on PC / phone while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching.
