As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the client facility.  The Project Manager ensures contract compliance by regularly inspecting the post and facility assigned, as well as supervising security staff, and conducting performance evaluations.  The Project Manager also provides quality security and protection services by highly skilled security officers to.  Other duties include, but are not limited to, safety direction, quality assurance, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the security team during normal and emergency operations.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Primary liaison between G4S Secure Solutions USA and client senior management
  • General Operations management; review post orders and make recommendations to corporate security when updates should be considered; review daily log reports and provides pass downs as required; responsible for officers meeting company standards pertaining to quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures including worldwide business standards
  • General Human Resources management; participate in selection and placement, conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, and conflict resolution; scheduling; payroll
  • Assist in investigating all suspicious incidents and provide full report; monitor time and attendance for all officers on site; attend daily rack-up meeting with Facility Security Officer (previous/current/future business); conduct shift change briefings to ensure all information is passed on from shift to shift
  • Prepare and have working knowledge of OSHA logs; maintain and Log CFATS CVI; maintain and updates Patrol Tours (guard tour system); maintain and update G4S QA Metrics; maintain and update G4S monthly management report
  • Plan patrol for shifts; notify site supervisor of all violations in policy; perform additional duties requested from client; attend and provide representation at RCMS (Responsible Care Management Systems) monthly meeting to client leadership staff
  • Oversee CFATS managers program and review for timeliness and correctness of data
  • Cooperate with local, state and federal enforcement agencies conducting business on client site

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license if driving a G4S or client vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience at the supervisory level in security, law enforcement, or the military.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of verifiable work experience as one of the following:
    • active-duty military
    • police officer
    • security officer

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules and respond after-hours to emergencies
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:  Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat

Major activity:  Sitting, computer and telephone use, walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Standing, lifting, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
