As a Recruitment Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for administrative support of the candidate screening process for field offices and strategic account locations.  This position will act as a liaison between the Candidate Recruitment Specialists, Lead Candidate Recruitment Specialists, and the Director, Recruitment Administration.  This role will take a proactive role in supervising a team of applicant screening specialists, coordinating training and monitoring quality assurance measures to ensure the overall performance of the screening team meets and exceeds expected business goals.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Assist with the day to day operation of Candidate Recruitment Specialist and Job Advertisement Specialist teams
  • Monitor team member performance
  • Respond to immediate questions and concerns regarding interpretation of field requests for staffing
  • Assist with team member performance issues, develop and implement improvement programs
  • Participate in selection and placement of new team members as well as make recommendations for advancement of personnel and overall team structure
  • Assist with resolution of team conflicts and internal issues as well as work with field management where concerns arise regarding quality of job advertisement requests; escalate concerns as necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a fast paced, high volume, centralized recruitment center
  • Must possess a minimum of 1 year of related supervisory or management experience
  • Must possess prior experience in a call center environment
  • Work history must include:
    • Excellent organizational skills that include the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
    • Demonstrated strength screening and interviewing job candidates
    • Strong candidate sourcing experience that includes both traditional and online resources
    • Sound understanding and use of Applicant Tracking Technology
    • Strong consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership
    • Ability to work effectively with a team of direct reports
    • Ability to focus on continual quality and process improvement
    • Strong customer service focus

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office; indoor with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures expected

Major activity:        Working on PC while sitting; telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:      Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching, and reaching
