The general purpose and function of the Site Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client's site.

**$500 bonus payable after 90 days of continuous employment. Bonus amount is subject to applicable federal and state income withholdings.**

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Perform audits and inspections of the services and personnel as described in the scope of work, and otherwise as needed to ensure requirements of client contract are being met
  • Supervise lead, coordinate and organize security teams as needed and appropriate for his or her assigned site
  • Act as a liaison to client personnel and departments as needed and appropriate
  • Perform monitoring, surveillance and other physical security functions as defined in post orders
  • Perform incident detection and mitigation requirements including but not limited to checking systems, and responding to various events of varying severity including high severity such as breaches, life threatening events and natural disasters; investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required
  • General Operations; review daily log reports and provides pass downs as required; responsible for officers meeting company standards pertaining to quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures including worldwide business standards; conducts required/dedicated site assessments to ensure client compliance and provides recommendation on operations, procedure and technology applications to G4S Management; maintain overtime to a present requirement designated by G4S
  • General Payroll; maintain Master Schedules on a daily basis; input and review of payroll for accuracy
  • General Human Resources; participate in selection and placement, conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, and conflict resolution; scheduling; as required
  • Review alarm system open/close reports, compile exception reports and forward to appropriate security manager/operations manager for review
  • Provide monthly report to the facilities and corporate security organizations detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month concerning any security and safety issues
  • Administer G4S Safety Program; semi-annual review and revise the security Emergency Response plan; monitors compliance with regulatory and fire prevention requirements and safety items assigned by client
  • Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
  • Participate in weekly management meetings providing feedback and suggestions in regards to safety and security

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of six (6) months of work experience in a supervisory/management role
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
    • Service in the active duty military, military reserve or National Guard
    • Service in auxiliary police or cadets
    • Minimum of one year verifiable and successful security experience

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Be able to work flexible schedules
  • Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Indoor, minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling, some lifting.
