The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Shared Services Specialist. As a Shared Services Specialist you will be responsible for Payroll, Billing, Accounts Receivable and Payable, and other administrative work as assigned.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Weekly Payroll Transmissions, generate reports, update and conduct Payroll briefing;
  • update scheduling master template
  • Create and maintain client Contract Management System; request Certificate of Insurance; enter billing adjustments;  reconcile and generate Non-Labor Recurring/Non-Recurring invoices
  • Maintain Age Analysis Report and Contact Client; attend and report conference call
  • Create Requisitions/PO for all invoices; process and maintain New Vendor accounts
  • Purchase and maintain equipment; maintain Fixed Asset Inventory; maintain and assign vehicle and gas card
  • Attend and Report Monthly Shared Service meetings
  • Other duties such as maintain compliance requirements; obtain, report and file claims; purchase and replenish equipment/supplies as directed

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum one (1) year experience as an office administration clerk or similar role

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Must be able to successfully complete all training for the position
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures in expected

Major Activity: Working on PC while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching.
