Job Introduction:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for administering the security contract and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. This position will act as the company liaison with client and employees. This position is also responsible for providing management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Primary liaison between company and client senior management
  • Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site is performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. personnel assigned to his/her site).
  • Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
  • Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by G4S
  • Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)
  • Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance
  • Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision
  • Respond to client requests

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must be able to pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
  • Must have a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must have one or more of the following:
    • Minimum of two years verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
    • Service in the active duty military, military reserves or National Guard in a supervisory capacity
    • Service in professional Law Enforcement, Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets in a supervisory capacity

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Must be able to successfully complete all training required for the position
  • Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
  • Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Must be able to clearly read, write and interpret business reports, including the ability to analyze data and incorporate changes to site operations, as needed
  • Must have demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and motivate employees to meet operational goals
  • Must be able to learn and navigate scheduling software, demonstrating the ability to successfully staff the site according to officer availability to cover site needs
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; some outdoor work in extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Working on PC while sitting; telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending limited stretching and reaching.
