In this position, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for maintaining a state-of-the-art manufacturing center, in support of commercial sector incident management. The key performance objective of this position is to deliver results for communications and business solutions during incidents, emergencies, and critical operational time periods through the use of various dynamic training programs.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Manage a training program to ensure personnel are always in a high state of readiness to include continuous emergency exercises and drills
  • Maintain a high level of business enterprise functionality
  • Support and/or coordinate internal emergency communications
  • Research, compile, and sort data; provide specialized reports to client on business continuity practices and business resiliency capabilities
  • Support executive level client's data and information needs during emergency activations
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams from business units to achieve business continuity recovery time objectives
  • Evaluation of contract performance and compliance; review of staffing levels; review training documents; interaction with client management
  • Training of employees to contract standards; review and understanding of training Requirements; conducting training sessions; evaluating comprehension of material
  • Identify performance shortcomings and then develop and implement process or program solutions to address shortcomings; review and understanding of contract requirements and expectations; develop action plans
  • Conduct employee evaluations, counseling, and discipline; complete required forms on a regular and consistent basis; provide positive feedback to employees
  • Maintain open, timely and accurate communication between client, local G4S office set and conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly staff meetings, and teleconferences; prepare and send emails, memos, letters; set and conduct meetings with key personnel within contract

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in one or more of the following:
    • Emergency response/crisis management field or related field
    • Criminal justice
    • Medical response
    • Fire science
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any/all licenses, certifications, certificates required by law

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required (any one or combination)

  • Five (5) years work / training experience in the crisis management, emergency response, emergency communications in law enforcement, medical responder or fire services
  • Five (5) years training experience in business continuity processes, emergency management, and/or customer-service in a manufacturing center arena
  • Five (5) years training experience in a corporate management/leadership role
  • Five (5) years experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Notifind, or comparable content management system

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must possess a proven record of success associated with the ability to:

    • Achieve results in a fast paced, collaborative work environment (team oriented)
    • Work effectively and efficiently in a high-stress operations environment
    • Deliver a work-product indicating attention to detail and problem-solving

    • Use web technologies in communications/marketing fields effectively
    • Knowledge of the principles of incident management process, methodology and business continuity process
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office and manufacturing

Major activity: Working on PC and using telephone/radio while sitting and walking manufacturing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, light lifting up to 50 pounds, and limited stretching and reaching
