G4S, the world's leading private security organization, has an immediate career opportunity for a Site Security Supervisor! In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of client facility; ensure contract compliance by regularly inspecting the post and facility assigned; supervise security staff; and conducting performance evaluations. Other duties include, but are not limited to, safety direction, quality assurance, planning, organizing, and directing the security team during normal and emergency operations. This position will act as G4S liaison with the client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. In this position you will also perform general security duties in the protection of persons and property and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules, and regulations of the client.

Role Responsibility:


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must be able to pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice
    • Prior or current military service
    • Prior or current law enforcement experience

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

Other Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must possess demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
  • Must able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Indoor with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures

Major activity: Working on a PC while sitting, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Sitting, observing, typing. Minimal standing or walking. Little to no reaching, or kneeling.
