G4S is looking for  an individual with strong technical acumen need to support growing customer base. We need a strong candidate with proven technical  support experience to provide pro-active support to an existing customer base. A successful candidate for this role will have a proven customer service skills and a strong technical support background.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

 

  • Provide timely, efficient and professional service to all clients to ensure client satisfaction
  • Receive inbound calls to assist in installation and configuration of new hardware
  • Organize and prioritize outbound calls related to device connectivity
  • Receive support escalations for safe hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Track installations and connectivity troubleshooting through the creation and updating of tickets
  • Escalating and tracking of on-going installation or connectivity issues

 


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Associate’s Degree in Technology Field
    • High school diploma combined with 1 year of experience in a technical support role Equivalent work experience

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • 2 years of experience in a technical support role
    • 1 year in a in Cash 360 Level 1a or 1b support

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity:        Working on PC and using telephone while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:      Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching.
