The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Transition Operations Coordinator. As a Transition Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the successful transition of operations at new and existing Healthcare locations.  This position will coordinate with onsite management, the G4S senior healthcare management team and local G4S offices to ensure a successful transition by maintaining implementation schedules, providing status reporting, and addressing concerns that arise at the site.  This position will ensure that requested training and support are conducted during the transition period and as needed thereafter to ensure that G4S personnel are using the programs effectively and that our customers are receiving the full value of its benefits.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Maintain timely and detailed transition plans
  • Provide necessary status reporting to healthcare management team
  • Directing transition cell team members in their areas of expertise
  • Making recommendations regarding process improvement to Senior Management
  • Leading by example and setting the tone for behavior and culture for the transition site
  • Providing candid feedback on transition needs and shortcomings to Senior Management
  • Interact with people at different levels

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Have at least two years of experience in the security industry or related field
  • Work history must include each of the following:
    • A history of managing projects successfully through completion by establishing and achieving deadlines according to plan
    • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact with a broad range of people from entry level personnel through executive leadership
    • Strong technical skills and initiative, as well as the ability to operate within a team to achieve goals and exceed expectations

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment:  Mostly indoor with minimal outdoor exposure to extreme cold/heat

Major activity:  Standing, speaking, walking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Standing, walking, sitting, with minimal and kneeling
